Hull
The fuselage is hand-laid as a sandwich construction with Dyvinicell foam, 10 mm thick. It is standard white with a single waterline in grey. Hull and deck ((with an inlaid gray corrugated structure) are glued together and screwed to an aluminum toe rail with stainless steel screws.
Keel
The keel of the new DIAMANT** has been optimized with the same draft and weight of 420kg and the center of gravity has been shifted significantly lower, which results in a higher righting moment. The keel bomb is in a new modern design.
Rudder
The long and narrow rudder is designed to be very streamlined. It is guided in needle bearings with a stainless-steel shaft in the hull and its shape ensures precise reactions to rudder deflections, as is to be expected from such a sporty boat.
