What happens with your payments if the charter company (which usually has its headquarter abroad) should go bankrupt? Is there an insurance for the money which is already paid? Yes! Your payments will be covered by our insolvency insurance policy! We take out a insolvency insurance policy for each charter contracted with us. Therefore your payments are insured against insolvency of the charterbase as well as against insolvency of our charter agency. Why to take out a insolvency insurance policy? Many charter companies contract charter agreements without the obligation to have compulsory insurance against insolvency, since neither the charter operator (charterbase at the destination harbour) nor the charter agency (as a mediator) is deemed to be a tour operator (the usual cover certificate is not provided). This insurance gap can be closed with our insurance against insolvency.
This is not a legal advice! Due to legal regulations we are not allowed to perform advisory functions regarding insurances. Provider of all charter offers on this website as an agency and your contact person:
