CLASS SPINNAKER MAX OS3B-SK

This spinnaker is a classic allround spinnaker with a slight preference for downwind courses, since currently more UP and DOWN courses are sailed during regattas, resulting in a higher ratio of downwind courses. The spinnaker has a trioptimal cut, a star-shaped cut, with the cloth panels travelling from each end of the sail towards the centre to form a star shape, where they merge seamlessly with the panels travelling from the other ends. The cut is designed according to the maximum surface area of the sail when sailing downwind, in other words, at a spinnaker boom height which tends to be lower when sailing. The cloth material is 0.75 oz Superkote, in conformity with the class specifications. The sail edges and clews, including the head, are set off in colour (red/green/blue). The colours in the spinnaker can be freely selected, and can be chosen for each cloth using a panel layout. In the minimum and maximum spinnaker area, the maximum lengths have generally been used. The sail number in the spinnaker, with national lettering and a patent spinnaker bag are included in the price.
