Modern rig
The flexible rig of the Diamant 3000 can be very easily trimmed using a backstay and running
backstay, in order to achieve the optimum forward

movement in any wind situation. All halyards
and tack lines can also be accessed from the cockpit, as is standard on a modern regatta yacht.

Sailing on the wind
The Diamant 3000 is easy to steer, sits well on the rudder and has a highly stable form,
thanks to its flat hull underbody. It quickly starts surfing in medium-strength winds -
sailing at over 10 knots is no problem.

Spacious cockpit
Light and strong winds
The performance of this 2.8-tonne yacht under light winds should also not be overlooked.
The Diamant 3000 sails at the peak of its speed potential, whether it is high on the wind,
on the reach or in an aft wind, for example with a 115.00 m² top spinnaker or a 96 m² gennaker
which is set using a bowsprit integrated into the side of the hull (both available as
additional accessories). The 7/8 high,
|
 |
85 m² class spinnaker also produces sufficient forward
movement for this purpose.

Experience pays
There is no doubt that our designer Jan Kjaerulff has drawn on his many years' experience
as a sailor and yacht designer when developing this boat. The broad sailing and regatta
experience gained by Ott Yacht GmbH has also come into play. All these factors will ensure
that your competitors will only get to see you from the best perspective on many regatta races:
from behind.
